I would like to commend you for hiring such honest and amazing employees. I was at Gibson’s last Thursday to have my car service done and other issues, and I was thrilled with the terrific service there. Although I had no appointment a mechanic examine my car, his efforts to treat me with courtesy and like a client who had a booking but I did not have one. Still they help me and so friendly, hardworking staff GREAT JOB ON MY VEHICLE

Gibson's always deliver what they promise. i had a big problem with my vehicle i took it to Gibson on the 10th of September and my vehicle drives amazing, they told me what the problem was and how much it will be no hidden cost and they never pressure you into something you don;t want to do, told me exactly what is wrong on my car and what needs to be fix to get it back on the road. up until today i had no problem with my car and it is driving beautifully. great and friendly hardworking staff. from the reception to the mechanics. well done to the team at Gibson's. excellent service. Was a little skeptical to go to Gibson's but knowing that Gibson's is trading under Kessel motors was a relief, I was recommended by a family member to have my service and suspension done at Gibson's, Wow if i could give 10 stars i would but 5 will do for now. Amazing team and amazing work

A mechanical workshop that I can trust 100%. ACD Gibson's goes above and beyond on customer service, and they get the job done right. Most importantly, I know that I'm always given a good price, and if they recommend something needs fixing, it's because it DOES, not because they're "upselling" me. It's so comforting to know that the value, quality, and honest service is there whenever I need it!

most incompetent people ever, Ian and Chantel, both liars, as they billed and promised me all kind of things, at the end of the day, no repairs was done, old fake parts was fitted on my Vehicle. Everything started a year ago when they fitted my new radiator, radiator was fit incorrect which caused the bottom radiator pipie to break and caused car to overheat. Went back to them to reseat radiator, whereby Ian an chantel both said that Pang who previously worked on my car did the wrong work and they got rid of him, Ian also convinced me that my car was in an accident at the previous owner that is why pang struggled to fit the radiator, which is the reason why he fit it with cable ties. I told Ian that is impossible because my car was send for inspection at dekra and passed that, ian then said that dekra gets bribed in order to get cars on the successful list. I realised after all this mess that they were covering there tracks all the time. My car has been by them 3 times within 2 months, not once was my car sorted, the last time my car over heated again and tey claimed that it was my water cap which was faulty and not releasing pressure. they replaced my cap and car was fine for 4 days, they gave back my old cap. I then came across an image of my previous cap i send to them before my car overeated, it does not look nearly the same to the one they gave back to me. ANyways, my car overheated again a week later and blew a gasket.. I decided to take it straight to Reeds because Gibsons has not ever did a proper job. Reeds findings was that the cap Gibsons replaced is broken, and also is an old cap, those caps no longer come in yellow colors, but in black only. So now Gibson wants me to bring my car back to them so that they can do diagnostics.. is there written idiot on my head?? I will never take my car back to then, i will rather have to pay 20-30k to get my engine fixed now than going back to the team of chantel and Ian. Never again, rip off to say the least! see the images attached surrounding the Cap only, got many more evidence around this matter.

My car was in for a service and returned to me with no gearbox oil or top up steering oil. This resulted in my gearbox to fail. After I spent R8000.00 on suspension and that service. Nobody has taken any responsibility for this incident and I have been lied to numerous times. Now after 3 months I still don't have a working car and paid another R12000.00 to get it fix. I have contacted ACD Head office to sort this problem but the same result no proper service. I now am still sitting with a car that is unsafe and broken. I have 2 small kids that I can not dare to drive around with them. There are main gearbox mounting bolts missing and oil leaking out. Report from Hi-q cape town: 1)there are numerous bolts missing the gearbox mounting, 2)bolts missing the exhaust 3) torn inner cv boot The worst of everything is that they expected me to drive my two small children around in an unsafe car, being lied to like that is just unacceptable.

I had no reason to question the work done by ACD Gibsons in Maitland, Cape Town, until I felt the car swerve on the N2 approaching Mossel Bay, as I was driving back to Cape Town after a long weekend. Then a passing motorist flashed his lights at me and I pulled over to have him show me that the rear passenger side shock absorber, fitted by ACD Gibsons, was hanging loose because the bolt had come out. Where was I going to get this fixed on a Sunday? Back in Cape Town, I took the car back to ACD Gibsons, who checked the suspension they had fitted and reassured me it was all good ... except for a dust-cover on the one shock, that had been burnt by the exhaust. They offered to replace it free of charge and promised me they would call as soon as they had sourced the part. A week later and nothing, so I had to call back ... to hear a story about how the were struggling to find the part; but of course they would call me back when they have it. Ok, but couldn't they just call to tell me that? Two weeks later and still nothing from ACD Gibsons, so I call again. Another story about how they had contacted ArmadaExtreme and ordered the dust-cover, so "it's on it's way". Great, but couldn't they just call to tell me that? Two weeks later and still nothing, so once again I have to call. This time, "the part still hasn't arrived yet although we were promised it would be despatched. But I'll call them and get back to you ..." And the next time I called, a week later, it was: "We are going to collect the part from the supplier ourselves. We'll get back to you when it gets here." Yeah right! .. every time I call, you promise me you'll get back to me, but you never do and now I can only assume you're just taking me for a fool! ACD Gibsons has still not called!
